Thankful public praise PSNI for seizing 'drugs resembling sweets' - haul included herbal cannabis and cash

Grateful members of the public have thanked the PSNI for seizing drugs that resemble sweets.

A post on PSNI Newry, Mourne and Down Facebook page details a recent drugs haul.

The post says: "The Mourne Neighbourhood Policing Team carried out a house search yesterday and seized 230 grams of herbal cannabis, £4000 in cash and packets of edible cannabis sweets.

"#KeepingPeopleSafe"

Underneath the post grateful members of the public say: "It scares me that this is all available to our kids, well done "
