Two arrests after 'vehicle on a rampage' crashes into fence

Police have arrested two males after a vehicle which they say had been "causing havoc across the country" crashed into fence at Dungannon.

Mid Ulster police said in a Facebook post: "A road traffic collision in Belfast, 2 males reportedly under the influence getting into a vehicle in Portadown and eventually ending up crashing into a fence in a residential area of Dungannon, these persons had no thought of others, never mind the law!

"Our quick acting colleagues arrested suspects nearby and an investigation is on going.

"If you know someone willing to drink and drive, please challenge them. This incident could have been much worse had the suspects not been caught!"

Anyone who witnessed any of the incidents is asked to contact police on 101, referring to incident number 1930 of 15/7/20.
