Two men hospitalised after serious stabbing incident in Co Fermanagh

Police were summoned to the scene of a serious stabbing just outside Enniskillen last night.

A report was received by police at around 8.40pm on Saturday, saying two men had sustained injuries following an incident at a house in the Coolcullen Meadow area.

The area is a newly-built development in the Drumawill area, to the south-west of Enniskillen town.

It was built by housing association Apex in 2014.

The PSNI said both men were taken to hospital for treatment with one of the men being described as being in a serious condition.

They added: “An investigation into the incident is underway and officers would ask anyone with any information to contact them at Enniskillen on 101 quoting reference number 2257 11/04/20. Information can also be provided anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
