UPDATE: Man released on bail pending further enquiries over Tates Avenue incident on April 23

A 24-year-old man who was arrested following an incident at the Tates Avenue area of South Belfast on Saturday 23rd April, has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.

An earlier PSNI statement said that he had been arrested on suspicion of possessing an offensive weapon in a public place, affray, criminal damage, common assault and disorderly behaviour.

A total of five individuals have been arrested to date in relation to the incident - three of whom were charged to court.
