Vandals flood popular NI bike trail

A popular NI bike trail has been flooded in what the council owners say is ‘a spate of vandalism’.

The Gosford Forest Park pump track trail will be closed for three days for repairs.

A spokesperson for Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon Borough Council said: “The pump track trail at Gosford Forest Park has been targeted in a spate of vandalism in recent weeks.

“Drainage pipes on the trail had been deliberately pulled out of the ground causing significant flooding and as a result closure of the track for three days.

“We would appeal to anyone who saw anti-social behaviour or sees anyone acting suspiciously in the area to report it to the PSNI on 101.”
