Woman wanted in Lithuania on child sex offences arrested in Coalisland
A woman wanted in Lithuania on what are stated to be “serious sexual offences committed against a child” was arrested in Coalisland today.
According to a PSNI spokeswoman, the 23-year-old woman is wanted to serve a prison sentence in the eastern European country.

She was found hiding in a wardrobe after officers raided a house in the countryside close to the Co Tyrone town.
The woman – whose offences, the PSNI stated, happened in Mazeikiai, a city in the north-west of Lithuania – is due to appear in court for an extradition hearing tomorrow.
Sergeant Davey from the PSNI's International Policing Unit, said today’s arrest showed the force “working to locate, arrest and bring before the courts those who are wanted for serious offences in Europe”.
He added: “Despite this fugitive’s best efforts to hide and avoid the consequences of her actions she was today apprehended.
“Today’s arrest delivers on our assurance of the relentless pursuit of perpetrators and supporting victims.”
