Detectives probing McGibbon murder arrest man and woman

Detectives investigating the murder of taxi driver Michael McGibbon in north Belfast on April 15 this year have arrested a man and woman.

The were arrested today (Wednesday) in connection with the murder.

The 35-year-old man and 35-year-old woman were arrested in north Belfast, and have been taken to Musgrave Police Station in the city centre for questioning.

Mr McGibbon, 33, a father of four, died after he was shot several times in the leg in Butler Place in the Ardoyne, a republican-dominated district in north Belfast.
