Dungannon school offers counsellor following pupil's death

A school said that it had made a counsellor available to pupils following the death of a 14-year-old Dungannon student.

David Shrestha was a Royal School student who played rugby with Dungannon’s Bluebulls and was a keen swimmer.

The PSNI said: “Police attended the sudden death of a teenage boy in Dungannon yesterday morning, Saturday, September 10.

“The death is not being treated as suspicious.”

The school said that it would be opening its doors on Sunday between 2pm-4pm “for anyone to drop in and be together”, with staff and a counsellor available to talk to people.
