Collision in Co Tyrone was fatal: victim named as Cameron Donnelly
A road collision in Co Tyrone earlier today was fatal.
It happened on the Donaghanie Road, which runs south-east of Omagh towards the village of Beragh.
Police, fire and ambulance personnel were at the scene this morning.
So far, the PSNI have only said that the incident was “serious”.

However, the News Letter has since established that a man died as a result.
A short time ago, Drumquin GAA posted on Facebook: “Drumquin GAA Club wishes to express its deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Cameron Donnelly following his tragic and untimely death earlier today.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with the Donnelly and Patterson families at this incredibly difficult time.
"We extend our heartfelt condolences to all who are grieving this devastating loss.
"As a mark of respect, all club activities will be suspended until further notice.
"We ask the Drumquin GAA community to keep the family in their thoughts and prayers, and to respect their privacy as they mourn.
“Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam [‘at the right hand of God may his soul rest’].”
West Tyrone DUP MLA Tom Buchanan told the News Letter he believes Mr Donnelly had been working on re-tarring the road.
Mr Buchanan said he would “know him to see”, adding: “For a young man to go out to his work in the morning and not to come home again is certainly a real shock for the community – and more so for his family.”
He passed on his condolences to the family, and said his thoughts are also with “whoever was driving the vehicle that would’ve collided with him” and his colleagues.
