7,000gns Westpit Lampard heads up Aberdeen Limousin trade
Sired by Jalex Itsallgood and out of the Vagabond daughter Greenwell Dior, this 20-month-old bull had earlier picked up the Limousin Supreme Championship in the pre-sale show judged by Tracey Nicol, Balthayock Home Farm, Perth.

Topping the sale at Aberdeen followed hard on the heels of the sale at Carlisle a fortnight earlier where Andrew Gammie made 18,000gns for his bull Westpit Lowry.
Taking the second top price at Aberdeen was Anside Lascard at 6,500gns from Mr and Mrs S Irvine, Anside Pedigree Livestock, Braehead Farm, Drummuir, By Keith, Banffs.

Anside Lascard was bought by RS MacKenzie, Dunbeaden House, Bettyhill, Thurso.
In all 16 out of the eighteen bulls forward sold to average a healthy £4,515. Three more bulls sold on the year and averages were up by £390.

The overall reserve Limousin championship went to M Massie, Mains of Elrick, Auchnagatt for his 21-month old Elrick Lord.
Sired by the herd’s 23,000gns stock bull Rahoney Geoffrey and out of Elrick Candy, the May 2015 born Elrick Lord sold for 5,000gns to J Boyne, Whinnyhaugh, Garmouth, Moray.

The first of these was Livet Largo which went to C and G Gordon. Lost Farm, Strathdon.
