Euro 2016: James Nesbitt turns Italian bar into piece of Ulster
Actor and football fanatic James Nesbitt turned a Sardinian bar into a little piece of his beloved Northern Ireland on Saturday for the Euro 2016 match against Wales.
Nesbitt decked out the entire Il Pontile Bar in the fashionable Costa Smeralda resort – the set of Roger Moore’s ‘The Spy Who Loved Me’ James Bond film from 1977 – with flags and other memorabilia dedicated to Michael O’Neill’s history makers.
The star of the big screen was on the Italian island to support a UNICEF golf tournament being hosted by fellow Ulsterman Darren Clarke.
