Five men arrested after burglary

Police in Tandragee have arrested five men following a burglary in the Kernan Avenue area of Portadown on Tuesday. Details of a black Saab car were circulated to officers after it made off from police on Belfast Road, Newry around 9.35am on Wednesday. Officers on patrol in Tandragee stopped the car on Ballymore Road at 10.14am. Five men, two of them aged 18 years old, a 19 year old, a 30 year old and a 33-year-old, were arrested on suspicion of the burglary in Portadown on Wednesday, 18 May.

The men are currently assisting police with their enquiries.
