Flying trade in the rings at Swatragh

Another super entry of quality cattle on Monday, 30th May met a flying trade with a good ring of buyers with some very good prices, more quality stock is required to meet demand. Heifers selling to £640 for 290kg (£2.21 per kg), with bullocks selling to £725 for 282kgs (£2.57 per kg) with Fat Cows selling to £940.

Sheep: Another super entry of 835 sheep at Swatragh on Saturday, 28th May witnessed a very solid lamb trade. Several pens of lambs sold well in excess of £84 each to a top rate of £86.00, Ewes sold to £85.00, In-Lamb Ewes to £125 while Ewes and Lambs sold to £186.00.
