Funeral details released for popular businessman Ciaran McGurgan after his sudden passing

According to Funeral Times, Mr McGurgan of Ennislare Road, Armagh who died suddenly on March 19th 2022, will be buried in St Patrick’s cemetery after Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 at 11am.

The death notice says: “Dearly beloved partner of Paul, loving son of Boe and Betty and much loved brother of Adrian and Sean.

“Reposing at his late residence 47 Ennislare Road, Armagh BT60 2AX until removal at 9.40am for 11am Requiem Mass in St Patrick’s Cathedral on Wednesday 23rd March 2022 with burial afterwards in St Patrick’s cemetery.

“The cortege will assemble at the gates of St Malachy’s Church at approximately 10:15am.”

The insertion adds that his passing is “deeply regretted and much loved by his partner, parents, brothers, sisters in law Maura and Joanne, nephews Danny and Finn, nieces Molly and Mya, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family circle”.

It asks for ‘family flowers only please, donations in lieu to Riding for the Disabled, Longstone, Armagh through a donation box in house or any family member’.

The owner of Maison Real Estate who died suddenly on Saturday evening was 41-years-old.

He founded his property business in 2014 and there are now two Maison Real Estate outlets - one in Dungannon and the other in Armagh.

A post on Maison Real Estate Facebook page says: “Due to the heartbreaking bereavement of Mr Ciaran McGurgan our Armagh branch will be closed until further notice.

“Please be assured all business will be dealt with and a member of the Maison Team will be in touch.

“Thank you for your understanding at this difficult time.

Comments under the post reveal the high esteem in which he had been held - ‘Heartbreaking. Ciaran was such a lovely fella. He spoke about his family, his mum Betty and his friends so passionately
