Game of Thrones season eight release date confirmed

HBO has announced that Game Of Thrones will return for its eighth and final series in April next year.

A trailer announcing the return of the hit series has been released, showing clips from key moments in the show with the tagline "For The Throne".

The series will air in the UK on Sky Atlantic when the series returns to TV screen in 2019.
