The emergency services were told of the blaze – which is being treated as arson – shortly before 8.55am on Saturday.

The residents in the other property were not injured, however minor smoke and water damage has been caused to their property.

Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
