Homes evacuated during security operation at Thiepval Barracks Lisburn
Army technical experts are examining a suspicious item discovered at Thiepval Barracks in Lisburn.
A section of the Belsize Road has been closed while the security operation takes place.
A number of houses in the area are currently being evacuated.
Thiepval Barracks is the Army’s headquarters in Northern Ireland has been the subject of terrorist attacks in the past.
