Injuries to Irish person in Westminster attack not life-threatening

The injuries suffered by an Irish person in the Westminster terror attack are not life threatening, the Republic of Ireland's parliament has been told.

Tanaiste and Justice Minister Frances Fitzgerald revealed the victim’s condition as she described the murders in central London as a “cowardly act”.

Foreign Affairs Minister Charlie Flanagan added that Irish embassy staff have offered consular assistance to the injured person and their family and that they stand ready to provide it.
