Latest alert sees viable bomb found in south-west Belfast
The alert focussed on Upper Dunmurry Lane, which is close to the railway line between Belfast and Lisburn.
It is in a part of the city linking the south to the more republican-dominated west.

Hide AdA suspicious object was found, examined, and declared to be a viable pipe bomb-type device.
As of late afternoon, the roads in the area were re-opened.
The device has been removed for further examination.
It is the latest in a number of security alerts in recent days, after the PSNI warned of a likely upsurge in dissident activity ahead of the 1916 Rising commemorations.
