London fans '˜are moving mountains' to get to next match

Members of the London Northern Ireland Supporters' Club will be 'moving mountains' to try and make sure they are in France for this weekend's Euro 2016 match.

The organisation has 200 members and another 150 affiliates who regularly meet in London.

Spokesman Neal Anderson from Portstewart told the News Letter he had been to all three games so far.

“Quite a few of our members on Facebook joked that they were sending postcards to their bosses to say they were staying longer,” he said.

“Most of our 200 members will be moving mountains to be there this weekend.”

Sixty members of his club celebrated in style in a Paris pub on Tuesday night when news filtered through that they were through to the last 16.

“Richard Cathcart from Enniskillen had the place bouncing by beating his bass drum for 20 minutes,” he said.
