Theresa May's infrastructure adviser has resigned, stating that 'Brexit is a populist and nationalist spasm worthy of Donald Trump'.
Labour peer Lord Adonis – a high-profile campaigner against Brexit – claimed Mrs May had sided with Ukip and the “Tory hard right”.
