Man arrested in connection with Adrian Ismay murder
A 40-year-old man has been arrested by detectives in connection with the murder of prison officer Adrian Ismay last year.
The man was arrested on Monday morning.
Detective Chief Inspector Geoff Boyce said: “Detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch investigating the murder of prison officer Adrian Ismay this morning arrested a 40-year-old man. He has been taken to Musgrave Serious Crime Suite for questioning.”
Mr Ismay died in hospital 11 days after he was the victim of a dissident republican bomb attack outside his Belfast home last March.
