Man due in court over Co Down robbery and offensive weapon charges
A man has been charged with a number of offences including robbery after a car was stolen in the Newtownards area on Thursday.
The 24-year-old was detained in Downpatrick and is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates Court on Saturday (August 13).
He has been charged with robbery, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, taking a motor vehicle without authority and driving whilst disqualified.
