Man facing six charges linked to Dunmurry bottle incident

A man has been charged with with a raft of crimes in connection with an incident in south-west Belfast.

The 29-year-old is due to appear in Lisburn Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning to face charges of GBH with intent, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence, theft, criminal damage, attempted criminal damage and common assault.

It is understood the charges relate to an incident at a flat at Broom Park Heights in Dunmurry in the early hours of Sunday, February 28, when a man in his 20s was attacked with a bottle on Sunday morning.
