Man in critical condition after Belfast stabbing

The incident happened in the Brittons Court area of Belfast shortly after 9pm.

A PSNI spokesman said the victim was taken to hospital for treatment to his injuries.

This morning the victim is in a critical condition in hospital.

Detective Sergeant Michelle Griffin would appeal to anyone who may have witnessed this incident to contact Detectives at Reactive and Organised Crime at Musgrave on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1492 27/08/16.
