Man in his 20s beaten in west Londonderry
A man sustained injuries to his leg in a paramilitary style attack in Londonderry on Tuesday night.
The incident occurred in the Glenowen area of the west of the city at around 11pm.
It was reported that a number of men forced their way into a house in the area and assaulted the male occupant.
The man, aged in his 20s, sustained injuries to his legs as a result of the beating.
A PSNI spokesman said: “Police are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with any information regarding the attack to contact Detectives at Strand Road Police station on 101 quoting reference number 1677 12/07/16.”
