This, said party leader Mike Nesbitt, is the de facto slogan for the party in its current Assembly campaign.

The lorries themselves will be taking the message across the Province in the weeks ahead.

Mr Nesbitt said in a statement: “That’s what people are telling us on the doorstep.

“They have had two full mandates and nine long years of devolved government led by the DUP and Sinn Fein and they are fed up with the lack of positives.

“It is time to make Stormont work and we have already shown we can do it with the suite of policy documents we have published over the last two months, as a build up to our manifesto launch.”

The party – which won 16 seats in the 2011 Assembly election – will be hoping to close the gap with the DUP, which won 38 seats in 2011.
