Motorbike gunman robs petrol station

A pair of robbers on a motorbike '“ one of them armed with a gun '“ have stolen money from a petrol station.

The robbery happened in Dollingstown, close to the Co Down/Co Armagh border to the south-east of Lurgan.

The petrol station on the Belfast Road area was targeted at about 4.45pm on Tuesday, police revealed on Wednesday morning.

In a statement, Detective Constable Kelly Foley said that “two males entered the forecourt of the premises on a black motorbike, wearing black motorbike clothing and helmets.

“One of the males entered the shop with a handgun and a sum of money was taken.

“The males then made off in the direction of Cottage Road.”
