Mystery man walks into NI shop, hands over brown envelope and asks cashier not to open it until he leaves

The man didn’t give his name but made one request - that the envelope remain sealed until he left.
The man left and when the woman opened the envelope she could not believe her eyes because inside was £350.

Hide Ad“You are approximately 5ft 4 inches tall, medium build with short dark hair,” wrote The Kindness of Strangers, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone.
“You came into our shop this morning (Friday), handed over an envelope and asked us not to open it until you left.
“You didn’t want to give your name.”
The mystery man did however reveal he had recently lost his father and explained to the woman that if he was still alive he would have wanted to help vulnerable children in the weeks and months leading up to Christmas.
“You said your dad passed away recently and that he would have wanted to support youngsters in the run up to Christmas.
“We opened your envelope to find £350.00.

Hide Ad“We will use this money to purchase 14 x £25 vouchers and distribute them to local families in the community who might need a helping hand.
