Lawyers who plan a private action against IRA killers of the murdered Scottish soldiers have raised £7,000 of a £10,000 initial target to get the case going.

From left above, fusiliers Dougald McCaughey,23, John McCaig, 17, and Joseph McCaig, 18, were drinking in Belfast when IRA men invited them to meet girls at a party in 1971.

They were taken to the outskirts of Belfast and shot in the back of the head.
