NI road closed after lorry catches fire

Motorists are advised that the Hillhead Road, Castledawson, is closed due to a lorry which has caught fire.

A PSNI spokesman said diversions are in place for motorists.

Motorists are also asked to seek an alternative route for their journey.

A post on @TrafficwatchNI says: "#CoAntrim road users advised A6 Hillhead Road, #Castledawson is closed due to a lorry which has caught fire (carrying a load of recycled tyres) "Diversions are in place.

"Please seek an alternative route for your journey ".
