The highlight of the agriculture calendar in Northern Ireland was officially launched at the Eikon Exhibition Centre at Balmoral Park yesterday as the Royal Ulster Agricultural Society (RUAS) hosted sponsors and guests at a lunchtime reception.

This year’s show, which runs from May 11-13, is aiming to be the most important to date as it seeks to be 10 per cent bigger than last year.

Once again the Balmoral Show is supported by its principal sponsor Ulster Bank.

This year’s show plays a key part in Northern Ireland’s Year of Food and Drink celebrations.
