A murderer is not a role model for future generations

To engage in lauding the dead to the extent that the evil they have committed is whitewashed as is the case with Martin McGuinness is foolish in the extreme.

It not only belittles his victims but threatens the future of incalculable innocent lives.

If the IRA deputy commander at the time of Claudy, who remained proud of his activities, is held up to future generations anywhere as a role model who knows what cold blooded actions he will “inspire”.
