Backtracking by the DUP on SF
Interviewed on television a recently about the stalemate at Stormont, Edwin Poots said he believed the way forward was now direct rule from Westminster.
But then at the beginning of this month he appeared on news bulletins telling us that Sinn Fein know what they need to do – ie “go upstairs and make the decisions ....then we can do the business”.
This latest backtracking by the DUP only adds to the disillusionment of those who have been its grassroots supporters.
