Brexit might have an impact on immigrant numbers

The report on Saturday in the News Letter (March 18) on the demographics of Northern Ireland in the future comparing children four years old and under attending school in Northern Ireland are a wee bit sketchy.

The pie chart showed that 50% of children attended a Roman Catholic school.

I would ask the question: how many of these children are the result of uncontrolled immigration from the EU?

We know that most of those who come from the EU are from a Roman Catholic background. I realise that those with no religion and others have been counted but it seems that this has not been taken into consideration.

If it ever comes to a vote on a border pole, would immigrants have a vote? We also need to consider that Brexit may have an impact on some people and their right to stay.
