The deal cobbled together by Theresa May to leave the EU satisfies neither Remainers nor Brexiteers.
Northern Ireland business leaders, by supporting it, are in fact saying to Mrs May: ‘Please continue to subsidise our businesses by sending lots of money to the EU’.
They are being lazy, and not grasping the opportunities which leaving the EU will present in other markets around the world.
It is high time that they had confidence in their own abilities and that of their companies instead of taking the easy way out.
