Changing approach in churches
The brief answer to Rev John Gray on the appointment of a Roman Catholic priest as an ecumenical canon at St Anne's Cathedral (August 3) is in the words of the Bishop of Rome, Pope Francis.
In welcoming a Lutheran bishop at the Vatican he told him that he was a very brave man in coming because at one time he would have been burnt alive.
