Derren needs to remember that '˜God is not mocked'
Derren Brown (Channel 4, Oct 10) will have impressed many with his entertaining psychological trickery, but Christians in particular will have found his mockery of God distasteful.
I do not deny that some of those in God’s service bring shame on His Name with their fundraising tactics and sometimes outlandish claims. (Mind you, Derren’s ridicule was a bit rich, coming in front of a paying audience!)
Derren needs to remember that the Bible says ‘God is not mocked’, and one day both he and I will
stand before the God he does not yet believe in.
