Guide to European and local funding

I would strongly recommend to community and voluntary interests in Northern Ireland a valuable new guide to European and local funding.

In order for organisations in Northern Ireland to maximise their potential they need to access sources of revenue. Requests for information on funding are some of the most common constituent inquiries that I receive. I understand that securing finance for an organisation can be challenging and sometimes it is difficult to know where to begin.

This is the primary reason for introducing a new information guide, which has been supported by the European Conservatives Reformists (ECR) group, to which I am affiliated in the European Parliament .

The guide aims to be a starting point in an organisation’s search for funding and, hopefully, it will point in the right direction. There are an array of European and local funding opportunities that can help Northern Ireland community and voluntary organisations to develop a project, covering costs or pay for capital expenditure.

Grants listed range from the arts to agriculture, education to the environment, and business to sport, There is something for everyone and my office in Belfast and Europe is always available to assist with queries.
