He is Irish, but living in France

I read with interest Walter Ellis's feature ('˜Within a generation of Irish unity, unionists will have found their place,' Nov 2).

Basically the south is a land of ‘milk and honey’ and the north’s a ‘basket case’ and yet people are leaving the south in droves, many coming north and to the rest of the UK.

And does Mr Ellis live in that land of milk and honey south of the border?

Nope he lives in France.
