I agree with former Greek finance minister's view on terror

It was a very interesting interview with Yanis Varoufakis on March 1 and March 2.

In my opinion he is 100% correct re terrorism.

I heard him on Radio Ulster the other day as with your debate I thought he was one of the most clued-up, and knowledgeable people on world affairs I had listened for a very long time.

What is the difference in being killed by a person who is called a terrorist or a person who is supposed to be protecting you but is acting like a terrorist?

The answer is none.

You are still dead, but only one is investigated and brought before the courts and sentenced imprisoned the other as the British government demand is protected from investigation given immunity and medals – hero worshipped and paraded through our towns and cities as great big brave fearless warriors.

The Brits and Yanks call anyone a terrorist who does not meekly accept being invaded, occupied, terrorised ethnically cleansed, planted partitioned etc.

As with the Palestinians and as with the Irish –Iraqi Afghans etc.

I’m quite sure Yanis Varoufakis would agree with what I am saying.
