In the absence of Stormont there is lack of oversight of PSNI

With regards to the recent headlines the PSNI have been allocated is it right to ask who is holding the chief constable to account and who is there to advise and protect him?

I am sure that there were a lot of disgruntled people throughout Northern Ireland to see uniformed police officers attend the gay rights festival in Belfast and I am quite sure that those same people were equally dismayed to see that there was no police attendance at the Omagh atrocity memorial service.

As we have no working executive here there is therefore no justice minister and no policing board so who is overseeing the actions of George Hamilton?
