Arrogant Mary Lou McDonald tries to airbrush out fact that republicanism created a multitude of victims

On January 10 a newspaper carried an article in which Sinn Fein’s Mary Lou McDonald espoused that any ‘debate’ (so called) on Ireland’s ‘re-unification’ (now called) should not be based on language of threat or violence.

Such utterances will have been annoying to many, including myself. However, the uncompromising arrogance and ignorance shown by McDonald I have to say is a very good thing because it gives me more reason to resist her republican call.

Like all severely blinkered Shinners, McDonald again is attempting to airbrush out the fact that Irish republicanism, for generations, has gleefully created not only a multitude of victims, but also a multitude of psychopathic murderers and mobsters throughout this tiny island.

Then there are the tens of thousands of sympathisers who aided and abetted them.

Anyone who thinks they’ve gone away (many probably helped to swell the ranks at Storey’s funeral!) or have changed on humanitarian grounds are only fooling themselves, Good Friday Agreement or not.

Now, pray tell me how on earth within any debate can the barbarism and inhumanities as meted out by Irish republicans (who McDonald expects Protestants and non-republicans to trust in her ‘re-united Ireland’) ever simply be ignored, as if it never happened?

For me, my family’s guarantee of protection from Irish republicanism (including it’s American wing) that has been born out of nothing else but vengeful hatred for Protestants and pro unionist peoples will always take priority over everything else — and that’s my contribution to the ‘debate’!

It will indeed be interesting to learn if it has ever been taken into account!
