I would like to congratulate Mr Hugh McCarthy for speaking up, once again, on behalf of the school children.

It is vitally important that all the children of this country should be in their classrooms where structured education can take place and where they are in a safe learning environment.

The available data suggests the under 50 group of our population are at virtually no risk of serious illness/death from Covid. This group includes all the children and probably most teachers!

Most children do not live with their grandparents so let us protect the future generation, get the kids back to school and, as a grandparent myself, credit the elderly with some common sense.
