David McNarry: Unionists need to find an agreed position on tne protocol
In his analysis of the unionist dilemma in dealing with the NI Protocol. Ben Lowry on Saturday (March 13, see link below) sums up the inadequacies of the unionist leaders in their quest to secure the Union.
He argues that “neither the DUP nor the UUP long term plan to deal with this crisis is clear”.

Hide AdAs he says some unionists “wanted to work the protocol and talk up its advantages now want it scrapped” .
A crisis can only be avoided when unionists know exactly where they stand!
Which is why it is crucial that the DUP call a summit to thrash out and find an agreed united unionist position on the protocol.
