Edwin Poots as leader of DUP will bring us backwards, not forwards

I believe if Edwin Poots is elected leader of the DUP it will mean that the DUP could end up as the third largest party in Northern Ireland.

Paisley-type politics will take over the DUP. That is for the bigots and the extremists.

Unionism is in a real bad place through the arrogance of Arlene Foster and others in the DUP.

No more ‘It’s our way or no way’ politics DUP-style.

Our politicians need to work together and show leadership and compromise.

Get rid of sectarian and divisive politics. Prioritise a peaceful future for our grandchildren.

Electing Poots brings us backwards not forwards.
