I am not holding my breath for a Dublin apology for the IRA’s actions

The sole purpose was to force British withdrawal and to move towards their united Ireland.

Then after 30 years of murder, mayhem, and continuing heartache – for both unionist and nationalist alike – all that they got was the Belfast Agreement.

After 50 years, can we expect an official apology from the Government of Ireland? Somehow I doubt their foreign minister will be rushing off to a press conference any time soon!
