Love or loathe Trump, I have lived through presidents since FD Roosevelt in the 1930s and it is my firm belief that if Mr Biden wins this election it will be a disaster for the United Kingdom.

Mr Biden is an Irish nationalist, and rightly proud of his roots, but his 26 counties of Ireland are now governed by the EU.

In the best interests of democracy and the world, surely both Mr Biden and Mr Trump should welcome a full-blown legal inquiry to settle this election dispute between them.
