Letter: Committee chair's response tactic to questions from TUV MLA Timothy Gaston seems rather undemocratic

It is a sad reflection on our system of regional government that the only response of the Executive Committee's chair, Paula Bradshaw MLA, to a member's question is to unjustly denigrate the member.
Whilst committee members might be embarrassed by questions from the TUV's Timothy Gaston MLA, the chair's response tactic seems rather undemocratic.
It's less than five years since 'New Decade, New Approach', whose promise of political openness and transparency was warmly welcomed by Alliance - the chair's own party.
Does that welcome only apply when it suits the chair?
