A letter from J Hamill:
What a vast subject the weather is to everybody on planet earth.
It's about time governments and meteorologists took stock to admit that the God of heaven and earth and sea is the overall organiser of the world's weather, whether good or bad.
Who, but a supreme being, could turn up the heat of the sun so that the UK experiences temperatures of nearly 40C; withhold the rain from much of England, Wales and Europe for many weeks; shake different countries with devastating earthquakes; and cause the oceans to get warmer.
Only this same God will bring back the rain to change scorched earth back to the green, green grass of home.
World rulers go on about climate change and global warming, blaming this and that, with no effective solutions.
No nation could ever do what God can do in His own way and time.
Is God real? Of course he is. He created all things by the word of His power and the power of His Word. Man's ideas and ideology are so imprecise and irresponsible.
So where do we go from here? Back to the drawing board? There is no drawing! Man, AI, or any other system, is totally powerless to create normal weather that's favourable for farmers and all creatures.
God creates the rain, precious rain, whether drop or deluges or showers of blessing, on mother earth.
